This Safari is your Namibian holiday! it is a great introduction to our beautiful country. Showing off the highlights: See the Namib Desert with the dunes at Sossusvlei, the premier coastal holiday resort Swakopmund, the diverse Damaraland with its cultural heritage Twyfelfontein, the Kaokoland - home of the himba people and the Etosha National park with game in abundance. it is a journey, where you can enjoy the highlights and also have some time to rewind - as we stay 2 nights at most of the destinations.

Monday day 1:

  • Departure 08:30 from Windhoek via Spreetshoogte pass to the Namib Desert - afternoon - at leisure - enjoy the desert scenery.
  • Overnight with lunch, dinner and beb breakfast at Namib Naukiluft lodge.

Tuesday day 2:

  • Early morning Sossusvlei excursion - visit Dune 45, the Sossusvlei, the Dead Vlei and Seswriem Canyon. Late afternoon - Sundowner - Drive on the private Nature Reserve.
  • Overnight atwith lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast Namib Naukluft Lodge

Wednesday day 3:

  • Drive through the Kuiseb Canyon and continue to Swsaqkopmund. Lunch upon arrival incl.
  • Enjoy a sundowner- drive to the moonlandscape and the ancient plant Welwitchia Mirabelis
  • Overnight with bed and breakfastat the Hansa Hotel or similar incl.


Thursday day 4:

  • Morning drive to Walvis Bay - optional ercursions possible (e.g. catamaran boat tour) or just enjoy the Walvis Bay lagoon with its prolific birdlife.
  • Return to Swakopmund at around lunch - time . afternoon at leisure - explore Swakopmund by foot.
  • Over night with bed and breakfast at the Hansa hotel or similar.


Friday day 5:

  • Continue along the coastline via Hentisbay and Uis to the Damaraland.
  • Visit the highlights around Twyfelfontein in the afternoon
  • Overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge.


Saturday day 6:

  • Depart via Palmwag and Sesfontein into the Kaokveld.
  • Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
  • Overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast at Opuwo Country Lodge or similar .

Sunday day 7:

  • Morning excursion with local guided to a Himba settlement. Gain insight into their lives afternoons at leisure.
  • Overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast at Opuwo Country Lodge or similar.


Monday day 8:

  • Early morning departure - if possible through the Western Gate - to the Etosha Natinal Park. picknick lunch included first game viewing on route.
  • Overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast at Okaukuejo or Halali Resort or similar incl.


Tuesday day 9:

  • A whole day of game viewing in the Etosha National Park. Drive along the vast saltpan to the Eastern side.
  • Overnight at Kempinski Mokuti Lodge or similar - incl


Wednesday day 10:

  • Explore the Eastern side of the Park: the Andoni Plains and the Fisher's Pan with game-viewing during the day.
  • Overnight at Kempinski Mokuti Lodge or similar incl


Thursday day 11:

  • Depart via Tsumeb, Outjo and Otjiwarongo. Stop in Okahandja at the local craft market and arrive in Windhoek during the alte afternnoon.
