Monday:

Windhoek. Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Windhoek at around 08:30 and we drive in Southern direction, pass the Tropic of Capricorn and arrive at the outskirts of the Kalahari. During the course of the afternoon, we will be able to join a ‘sundowner’ drive. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at either Kalahari Anib Lodge or at Bagatelle.

Tuesday:

Kalahari. Today we visit the Quivertree forest just before we reach Keetmanshoop and continue to the Fish River Canyon. Enjoy the sightseeing points along the Canyon, which is the second largest in the world. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Canon Lodge or similar.

Wednesday:

Fish River Canyon. The whole day is at leisure in order to enjoy the scenery, go for walks or join a nature drive (optional – at extra cost). Learn about the vegetation in this arid area and overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at the Canon Lodge.

Thursday:

Fish River Canyon. We carry on, visit the Hot Springs at Ai-Ais, the National Resort, which has just been renovated and drive to Aus. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at Klein Aus Vista.

Friday:

Aus. We will stop en-route in the Namib Desert to see the Namib Feral Horses at one of their waterholes. These are reputedly the wild horses of the Namib. When we arrive at Lüderitz, we might still feel the nostalgic atmosphere. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at the Nest or the Seaview Hotel.

Saturday:

Lüderitz. We have the whole day to explore the various bays around Lüderitz as well as the Felsenkirche. Lüderitz is also well known for its lobster – enjoy your dinner (optional – not included)! Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at the Nest or similar.

Sunday:

Lüderitz. Located just outside Lüderitz is Kolmanskop. We’ll participate in a tour through the ‘Ghosttown’ which will transfer us into gone-bye times. We overnight either in the Helmeringhausen Hotel or in one of the near-by guest farms on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Monday:

Helmeringhausen. Continue along the NamibRand Park to the beautifully set Namib Naukluft Lodge, where we’ll arrive during the course of the afternoon.
